Redeem Team Advances to Gold Medal Game

Team USA came out the gates strong, but looked quite shaky in the second quarter allowing Argentina to cut what was a 21 point lead to 9 at the half (49-40). Manu Ginobili went down mid 2nd quarter with what looked to be a sprained ankle and Argentina just wasn’t quite the same.

Kevin Curtis Could Miss Some Significant Time

According to sources Kevin Curtis has a sports hernia and will be out for a while and may require surgery.  This is very bad news for an already questionable receiving corps.  Especially with Reggie Brown having hamstring issues early on through camp and the first two preseason games.

Phils Win Despite Quiet Bats

Cole Hamels once again received very little run support but managed to get the victory.  Cole pitched eight sharp innings to snap a seven-start winless drought in front of his parents (who happened to attend the game in San Diego).
Hamels ( 10 -8 ) limited the Padres to one run on seven hits as he [...]

The Philadelphia 76ers and restricted free agent Andre Iguodala have agreed to a six-year, $80 million contract, league sources tell ESPN.com.

FINALLY.  The last piece to the puzzle has been inked and the Sixers are looking to have a very dominant starting squad to throw out on the court next season.  $80 mil was a tad [...]
