Andre Miller “Excited for Season”

In an interview with Sixers.com, Andre Miller discussed the newest member of the 76ers and his excitement for the upcoming 2008/2009 season.

I was excited when I found out.  I played with him in L.A., and he is one of the best power forwards in the league who can open up the floor, commands double-teams and can help all of us raise our games to another level. I’m excited to see what we can do as a team this year.

I think it’s great that Elton Brand chose to sign with us.  The way we came together at the end of last year was the first step, and adding one of the best power forwards in the league shows that we aren’t satisfied with just making the playoffs.

I really think we can do great things this year and I’m excited to be a part of it.

I too, am excited Andre, and cannot wait to see you and Elton re-unite and hopefully take the Atlantic by storm.  Lets get this season started already.
