The Cowboys still aren’t saying whether Tony Romo will play with a broken pinkie on this throwing hand Sunday against the Rams.
Coach Wade Phillips said Friday the team is ready to play with 40-year-old Brad Johnson as the starter. He called Romo a “bonus guy.”
Romo was expected to miss a month but has expressed his desire to play this weekend to his coaches. Word is he was able to throw passes during practice on Thursday.
