In the latest great news for Philly fans, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam Pacman Jones has been suspended indefinitely for his latest violation of the NFL’s personal-conduct policy.
Jones will be suspended without pay and will miss at least four games. After that, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will make a determination as to whether Jones deserves reinstatement.
The earliest Jones could play again is the Cowboys November 23rd game against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Dallas Cowboys who were atop the League a few short weeks ago seem to finally be on the short end of the stick. Dallas could be down 6 starters for the this upcoming week.
Last week they lost starting corner Terrance Newman, who will miss at least a month of action after undergoing surgery Friday for a sports hernia. Felix Jones is out 2-4 weeks with a partially torn left hamstring. Starting Q and pretty boy Tony Romo will be out four weeks with a broken finger. Punter Mat McBriar had to be carted off the field following the blocked punt that ended Sunday’s game with a sprained right foot. Sam Hurd is out with something, but who cares he barely touches the ball.
And Pacman, OHH Pacman… Commish Roger Goodell will make a ruling later today as to whether or not Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones violated their agreement upon his reinstatement just 41 days ago. If the incident involved alcohol (which we here at 215 think it in fact DID), it will have indeed have broken the agreement and Pacman could be suspended for who knows how long. Stay Posted.
DeSean Jackson and Quintin Demps were both fined $10,000 from the NFL for their celebration after Action Jackson’s punt return for a touchdown against the Redskins last Sunday.
Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. All they did was fold their arms and pose for like 5 seconds and then run back to their respective sideline. Bullshit. Goodell is a douchebag.
The NFL was apparently fine-happy on Friday and also fined Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown and two linemen $10,000 each for their choreographed dance routine in Sunday’s 17-10 victory over the San Diego Chargers.
The league said Friday that choreographed celebrations by two or more players aren’t permitted, though no flags were thrown at the time in the game (anything but what DeSean and Quintin did).
These guys at least had a choreographed dance called the “Cupid Shuffle” which is a bit more then a pose for the cameras after a fantastic play. At least let’s be fair here Commish.
The punt return video is below for your viewing pleasure, because we don’t see that them too often in Philadelphia:
Last week one Adam Jones met with commissioner Roger Goodell about his possible re-instatement back into the NFL. Jones left optimistic he will finally be able to join his teammates as the newest member of the Dallas Cowboys.
This makes you wonder just what oh what Pacman and Roger would discuss? Seriously, what would that conversation sound like? Funny things. Pacman has not played a down in the NFL in past 16+ months and was acquired in a trade by the Dallas Cowboys. Pacman is suspended for multiple run-ins with the law, most notably his issues with shootings at strip clubs in multiple cities around the county.
In quite a stroke of irony, Pacman will now call home in one of the most notorious strip club cities in the United States. With over 50 strip clubs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area including Exotic Magazine‘s two time nude club of the year “Clubhouse“.
Once Pacman is officially reinstated by Commissioner Goodell he will report to the Cowboys training facility in Valley Ranch, Texas on a daily basis. After some research a list of the best 8 – 10 strip clubs within driving distance will be mailed to him, including turn by turn mapquest directions from the practice facility, helping Pacman easily find those strip clubs he loves oh so much…quickly.
Early indications have shown the possibly that perhaps this is a new Pacman. After a recent party at ex-Cowboy Deion Sanders house, new teammate Terrell Owens said. “We went inside and were playing around on the basketball court, and I asked him if he was ready to play. He said, ‘Yeah, but we’re not going to no strip clubs this year either.’
So they’re already on his mind. And hopefully this helpful message from seemingly nowhere will be in Pacman’s fan mail one day after practice, and we’ll believe Pacman’s proclamation when we see i
